mine does that too, I'm assuming that the alternator that the car comes equipped with doesnt put out enough power.

The stock alternator on our cars suck. I am pretty sure it's 70 amps they put out?

way to intrigue with the tittle... Is the car running when it happens? If not the battery is dying

unlocking the door when the car isn't running kills the battery, using the dome light kills the battery when the car isn't running. using anything that uses the battery will kill the battery when the alternator isn't producing power.

the battery only has so much power and the alternator can only produce so much power. the lights will still dim if you place any type of load on the electrical system. with an upgraded alternator it just won't dim as much.

if your battery is fine, and your alternator is fine, then i wouldn't worry too much about it.

does the door light up when you unbuckled? I had the same thing, when i switched my 03 cluster to the older model. i fixed that by switching around the circuit board.
