nope.
mine does that too, I'm assuming that the alternator that the car comes equipped with doesnt put out enough power.

The stock alternator on our cars suck. I am pretty sure it's 70 amps they put out?

unlocking the door when the car isn't running kills the battery, using the dome light kills the battery when the car isn't running. using anything that uses the battery will kill the battery when the alternator isn't producing power.Originally Posted by djakay
the battery only has so much power and the alternator can only produce so much power. the lights will still dim if you place any type of load on the electrical system. with an upgraded alternator it just won't dim as much.
if your battery is fine, and your alternator is fine, then i wouldn't worry too much about it.

hahah.. na but really, i switched out a gauge cluster from a 2000 galant, maybe thats why this happens....lolYou need to change your washer fluid to fix that problem Pedro
oh and when my washer fluid is low my brake light goes on,, so i know it aint that

does the door light up when you unbuckled? I had the same thing, when i switched my 03 cluster to the older model. i fixed that by switching around the circuit board.

no, just the gas tank and door thing... thats all.... its kinda annoying,,, everyone who gets in my car think my gauge is retartedly ghetto..<<< and i dun blame em lol
