Corner Light - Double Filament vs. Single Filament

I cleared my corners and bought some pia 1157 X-treme whites but I noticed that they only match my PIA H4's when it blinks or hazards...

    SO

Is my thinking correct? If I buy a double filament bulb stronger than the stock bulb, the corner light will shine bright only when turning, hazards, etc
If I buy a single filament bulb, the light will always shine white but I will lose my signal blinker? And by lose my blinker I mean the turn signal will not blink and the white light will remain constant even if I turn the signals or hazards on?

    Or

Will the single filament bulb react bright and allow me to use the blinker with that same bright light?

This is all of course minus the bright corner rewire.

you bulb has two filiments. a contstant parking filiment and a stronger turn signal filiment. if the parking one was brighter than the turn signal, then u couldn't see the turn signal. but yea each filiment has its own wattage.

if you were to use a signal filament bulb you'd lose one of the filiments meaning you won't have parking or turn signal depending on if you rewire things or not.

if you want it to match may i suggest you do the rewire. the rewire makes the bright filiment on all the time and when u do a turn signal, the bulb blinks "off"

if you went to 1156 single filament, you would lose the ability to signal and your rear signals would speed up by approx. 2x.

the reason i came up w/ the bright corner rewire was to match the headlights. if you haven't read it yet, go to https://www.thegalantcenter.com and click on turotrials and it should b there. effectively what it does is make your parking light bright and your signal light dim, but keeps functionality via relays.

    Rewire

How difficult is the rewire to pull off?

    Corner Light Longevity

I checked out the tutorial and it doesnt actually seem that hard, (very easy if you have a pair of speed strippers) lol wire speed strippers I mean
Approx how long do the 1157 bulbs last with this, cuz I know they're not supposed to burn that hard that steadily. I have a set of Pia's 1157 for my corners...

depending on the quality of the bulbs they should last months.
