    test equipment

    hey everybody...
still having horn problems, but i bought a tester, just to see if there is current running to the horn.

    this is what i bought:

i was going to strip the horn wire, and hook up the neg of the tester, to the neg of the horn, and the pos to the pos. will this work?

otherwise, i can run a wire from pos battery to pos horn.

i hate to keep posting about my f'ing horn, but i need to fix it...soon.

    thanks in advance.

    peace,

I don't think that tester will work. just run a tap from the horn to the battery and see if the horn blows, if not it's either the wiring or the switch in the airbag module. I'd suspect the switch. That's a known failure point.

all you need is a test light....

But the common failure on your car is the horn itself.. ive replaced hundreds.
