just ground it to anything metal...
So I spilled a whole cup of drink into my head unit on Monday (I don't know why Mitsubishi put the cupholders directly in front of the head unit). Ordered a new one on Wednesday. And got it in the mail this afternoon. I've never hooked up a head unit before, but I'm planning on just following the way the old unit was installed.
All of that was irrelevant, point is, my new deck has DVD playback and I was wondering where I could ground the "brake" cable so that my "passengers" can watch videos while driving.
I've heard conflicting solutions of just grounding it anywhere else on the chasis. While others suggest a toggle switch.
What would be the ideal situation?
