TB cleaner threw CHECK ENGINE light

i used TB cleaner as directed by the can and afterwards the CHECK ENGINE light has come on. Could I have ruined my O2 sensor? or is there a way I can check the code and then try and reset the CHECK ENGINE light? The car is running great minus the dumb dash light. Anyone ever been through this?

    thanks ahead:)

You can buy a code reader at any auto store, some might even read it for you for free. Did you unplug your IAC and TPS before cleaning the TB?

no i did not, but i have done it before on a neon and did not have that problem. Is it differrent with Galants?

why don't u get the code scanned and find out what the problem is instead of guessing?

Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.

It's more than likely a random misfire code which is pretty normal when using a TB cleaner directly into the manifold, but like everyone said get it scanned

Genuine experience carries a lot more credibility than the ability to answer a question.
