wet shot systems typically "grab" gas from the fuel line before the fuel rail, and the corresponding nitrous+fuel is shot into the intake/manifold. a dry shot is pure nitrous injected into the intake, or manifold, and the nitrous sytem or the user bumps up fuel pressure to compensate for the nitrous. they both accomplish the same thing, it's the user's preference on how he wants to tune
