New Wheels/Tires, opinions
I'm new to this stuff, just purchased my G last year and haven't touched it. Its' an 03 sterling silver ES v6 with under 60k miles on it. Been thinking about getting some new wheels/tires for awhile and after reading the love for the car here and developing my own bond, I think its time. So, gathering opinions on what to get. I want 18's so I don't have to do any real work to get them to fit and found a tire that seems pretty nice.

Now looking for rims that'll look good , and chose the common black with chrome lip. Now for the opinions:

Like I said before, new to this, so if the measurements won't work with the wheel/tire combo, it'd be appreciated to know. But from the information I've searched out, I think it'll work with the slight 1.5" drop I want to put on it. Looking to keep my car with a stock but sexy look.

Out of those 3 wheel options I go with #3, the drag 5 spoke. I have the goodyear eagle GT's and they are awesome and will save you a few bucks from the F1's if your on a budget.

Welcome to TGC.. I would definitely go with the third option..

I like #3 as well. The other two are acceptable, and seeing as I'd be getting them for not only myself but the 'Those are sexy' factor from other people, I wanted to get opinions just in case my tastes suck...never bought rims before.
I'm not really on a budget, under $1,600 , those come together for $1,577 with tax and insurance/warranties. So it fit. I was also looking for a tire that could handle my driving here in Texas. I don't ramp up my acceleration, but I do drive fast when heading down the 280mi stretch between S.A. and Abilene, when theres nothing but myself on the road. My avg mph has been 95 the last 3-4 trips clocked with my garmin, with a high of 123 coming down a hill with a 5 mile straight stretch. So far the car shows no signs of wear under that condition, but the tires I have right now are the 16" Kumho(sp?) and they make me worry a bit. So I'm just looking for the best I can get, my tires came first when trying to fit my loose budget.

Heyy welcome to TGC too! :)

Thanks for the warm welcoming. I plan on being pretty active, as this is going to be my first car I ever tweak.
Are Drag and Voxx not quality brands? I tried to find the best looking wheels I could at a place I trust ( Discount Tire ) and those are the only ones that I saw that matched what I was looking for. That and comparatively their price was on the higher end of their wheel spectrum.

Those are nice, but the tires leave something to be desired. And the wheel weight is similiar to the Drag wheels as well, but more expensive. I know the casting/forged may be different. Been reading reviews on Drag brand rims and most seem positive, no Konig or ADR comparisons.

Those are pretty sex too. Tire choices kind of suck though. Looking for (all-season) and only have one option for the 18"s.
