    oil pressure

For the last few days my oil pressure light flickers if I take a corner in neutral or with the clutch depressed. It does not happen going up or down inclines and there is plenty of oil in the engine. Any ideas?

Two things come to mind here. 1. Faulty oil pressure sensor OR 2. Oil pump is going bad. Hope this helps you out. Good luck!

dwjp hit it on the head. if your car is still under warranty, you can get it done for free. I waited for my warranty to expire and it only cost me like 56 dollars after parts and labor.

Check your oil levels...you maybe be low on oil.

Check the terminal and connector to the oil pressure sensor...clean if needed.

If you oil level is good and you checked the terminals..then its most likely a bad oil pressure sensor.

Its rare that a oil pump goes bad...so i doubt thats your issue.

Plenty of oil. Cleaned all terminals and light went away till yesterday so thought it must be the sensor but when I was removing the cable noticed that the wire going into the sensor was dodgy looking. Replaced cable and all seems well. Thanks for the help.
