    Rear ABS sensor - removal tips

    Hi,
    I'm new here, but have had a 94 Galant LS for many years now.

    The top control arm bushings in the rear worn out and I'm replacing the whole knuckle (both sides) just for the bushings...

    Couple of quetions:
    1. I already broke one ABS sensor trying to remove it from the knuckle, and don't want to break the other one - how do I press it out without damaging it

    2. I need a source for cheap Mitsu parts. I'm about to order from http://www.genuinemitsubishiparts.com/ - any suggestions? Where can I get an ABS sensor for less than $250??? :shock:

    thanks in advance!

    you wont be able to remove it, period.

    You are just going to have to get a new one, as the sensor is too fragile to remove without force after the rust has gotten to it.

    Go to www.mitsubishiparts.com. I think 210 each of the sensors and 43 for the rings.

    Also look at www.rockauto.com.

    I use both and the shipping is great. I have got parts in 2days.

    using regular shipping.

    remember to have you vin number so you can send it in the order that way if the part does not work for you you can retun it in an almost no question ask service.
