    Exhaust Question

    So I'd like to put on a muffler and i found on i like on ebay:

    * http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us *(this one)^^

    I was wondering how much work it's going to take to make this work or if anyone knows of a muffler like it. I know i won't get the sound that the g35 makes but i love the way it looks. So what do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your input guys.

    hope this is in he right section.....

    you will have to get a shop to custom fit that but i doubt there will be enough room under our trunks to fit all of that. I dont think it will be worth the money to do it, you should have an exhaust company make some custom dual exhaust. Reelax has some pretty sexy dual exhaust you should check out his garage.

    if you want a dual muffler, it's not hard. a few members here have done it. first that style of 1 muffler transversly mounted will not work since our spare tire well gets in the way. what you will want to do is buy 2 mufflers, cut out a matching hole in your bumper on the other side of where the stock cut out is, bring the mufflers to an exhaust shop and have them split the main exhaust pipe before the spare tire well and add a new sections of piping to the 2 mufflers, one on each side of the sapre tire well.

    here is what it will look like when done (on another member's car):

    here is mine:

    the piping is the same as described above (up to the end of the mufflers) but the rear bumper and tips were a little more involved.

    to just do duals? cost of mufflers plus around $200-$300 for piping and install (around $400-$600 total). to do what i did? around $1300 (if you can find the tips and rear valence which are now discontinued).
