You may be able to keep both just put 2 high flowing ones on
which part are you looking to get rid of I can probably help better knowing what you are talking about
Got a 2002 ES I4 and want to get an exhaust but pass emissions. I know that our 8g's have two cats, one at the headers and the other after the flex pipe. I want to remove the one after the flex pipe, but leave the other one alone. Will I pass emissions?
I used the search feature and am still not sure.

Also what state are you from?
you're wrong on this one.
the one after the flex pipe is a cat not a resonator. the resonator is the part right above number 56045
as for passion emissions, techinically you won't pass emissions if you remove the cat. but depending on where you live and how u get it inspected, you might be able to pass without it.
Webhosting for less than $3 a month? put "pinoyesv6" as a promo code.
I'm from CT.
just got two highflow cats.
then to avoid frying the o2 sensor, foul them out with some spark plug foulers.
ok so..I am gonna leech off this post..I have the 03 GTZ and I am Blessed with the Cali spec of all God forbidden things....and to cut ppl off..I am not purchasing headers as of yet..I know about the foulers for the O2..and yes..I used the search..now..if I were to "remove" the pre-cats, because the Government thought it would be cool to have them, would this effect the flow of the exhaust in a good way ...or would it be worthless to do....and I already though that it may burn out my main cat..any insight on the pre-cat deletion??
