I'm off to work today so I painted my Flares!!!
After clear coat dries..
It's missing one of the rear flares. I left it on the garage.
I'm gonna install them on Saturday. ;)
Thanks. They are clipped on.
I have the flares primed and sanded over the weekend. Ready for basecoat and clear this coming Saturday.

I've followed your whole build.. and I'm still dumbfounded at the fact that you manage to paint in your garage... lol
Do you really avoid dust? or are you juss that great at water sanding? lol
I closed the garage door when I start to paint. So I was able to manage (90% atleast) the dust from sticking on the things I'm painting on. I only wet sand after primer before base coat to smoothen the surface. I do not polish after clear coat because I'd prefer the surface glossy.

i see.. thats interesting way of lookin at it.
i'm used to the normal prep... sand after primer, paint, clear.. sand and polish... lol
sometimes instead of polishing.. you can sand it, and slap another 2 coats of clear... looks nice...
I prefer to make it quick and simple ;) thanks

All looks very well done...great job!
looks good. It's pretty crazy you paint all your stuff by yourself in your garage and it looks prrofessional. not to mention, arent you kinda new to painting?? thats nuts!!!
hey bro looks awesome! did you drill holes into your fenders? or just used the 2 10mm sockets which held them up?

Thanks. No drilling, I used double sided tapes and 2 existing bolts under the fender.
The 2 small pieces are pain to install though.

Where do you get your clear from? I am looking for a good clear coat for my carbon fiber and so far everything I have found leaves finger prints except for one, but its a liquid and not a spray so it gets annoying.
I bought the clear from a local paint automotive store. It's also liquid so i have to mixed it w/ activator to harden and spray it by a HVLP gun.
