    Wheel, bearings and abs....
Well, first off you don't have to worry about packing wheel bearings and greasing andall that. It's pretty easy for mitsu's. instead of just the wheel bearings' you'll have to replace the whole hub assembly.

This is what the rear hub assembley looks like.

The front hub assembly has a whle in the middle for the front axel.
this was my old on with the front knuckle attached.

Now as far as having ABS too....
Honestly, you're aBS sensor will be rusted inot the housing that holds it. You'll have to have a lot of patience and a lot of hammering, to get the front hub assembly out with out destoying the abs sensor.

You'll have to back the bolts holding the knuckle in out a little at a time, then hammer them so they start to push the knuckle out. Then back the bolts out some more then hammer them some more. Be careful you don't smash the sensor.

a little advise.. also have the next size bigger socket ready. As you hammer the bolt head, it will start to spread a little and the original size socket won't fit.

Here is a picture of the rear abs sensor and hub assembly.

note how the actual abs sensor is right nest to a bolt. The rear is so mich easier to get the hub out. All you pretty much do is hammer the whole rear drum assembly and it will fall out bringing the hub.

if you want to stay 4 stud then just get a hub assembly for a 7g galant. The tutorial is for switching to 5 stud.

Which wheel are you having problems with?

    5 stud =

    4 new wheels $
    4 new tires $
    4 new rotors $
    4 new hubs $
    2 calipers
    1 rear pad set

    adds up quick

    4 stud=

    2 calipers
    2 hubs
    2 rotors
    1 rear pad set

    keep front brakes
    keep existing wheels
money leftover for other stuff like
    stainless brake lines

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DOHCSTUNR)</div><div class='quotemain'>
    2 calipers
    2 hubs
    2 rotors Â*
    1 rear pad set

    </div>

you only need the calipers and rotors if you plan to change to rear disk. The same hub will work for disk or rotors. And since it's the rear hubs, it shouldn't be that hard to get hub out and not break the abs sensor.

2 have you checked your rear brake pads for the noise? might do that first before going into trying to change hubs.

best way to tell if its your bearings is drive on a freshly paved road. 20-30 mph.
turn off your radio and shut all your windows.

steer in such a manner that the weight of your vehicle shifts to one side or the other. if it gets louder when you shift the weight to that side, then thats the bearing. its easy enough to tell if its front or rear.
if the noise correlates with wheel speed its also an indicator.
