There were a handful of things I found different between my aug and dec car.

for instance, my december car had a seperate fuel pump and sender. with a seperate acces panel for each (like a 2g FWD car)
-but my aug car(white) has the sender and the pump all on the same assembly, and only one access panel.
also the august car was cali spec, and the dec car was fed.

Is your car running right now?
LOL, I know it's in the door jamb. I haven't look at it in awhile.

No, it's not running right now. :( Mostly a crank/no start issue. I have fuel but weak spark issue and it's in South Carolina for the time being. Hopefully, this month or the next I will have it tow to Charlotte to work on it more.

Mine was also Dec 93. I remember clearly the one my father bought brand new back in 94 was built feb 94. The person that told me about the total production numbers for the GS, was actually a guy that called me regarding my GS for sale. Turns out this guy lives in texas and has had 4 GS's so far (former mitsu staff). He told me most of GS's made were white, second the black and the least made the dark green. Most of white and green GS were made in auto trans, only the black were made mostly in manual trans. The first month of production was Jun 93 and last month of production July 94. Most of GS's made in 94 had the optional ABS. And You are right DOHCstunr; there are differences between the first sementer and second semester of production., mainly due to recalls...the ones I know for sure are, the fuel pump and floatant from 1 pc to 2 seperate pcs, and also the front ball joints made different after a recall. Any how....YES...!1.657 TOTAL UNITS.....I always said the GS was a rarer car than the GVR4.

I just got it in the mail - GS ECU. All I need now is the knock sensor. I have the transistor and I think Im gonna start with DSM coil packs and switch to 8g coil packs.

Still have no word about the Evo ECU

i'd be happy to just see it flash right over to dsmlink(although i'm not a dsmlink supporter in any form). Would be nice to see you guys have any kind of real tuning option.

If mko wants to, he could get a rom emulator and use either the NA or Turbo definition files that I have.

yeah i run an ostrich and ds-map on my 1g ecu. Like i said i'm not a supporter of dsmlink.
i'm fairly certain you could run 15-20 psi(with the right turbo and a good tune) on a completely stock dohc 2.4 so long as you had knock dependant ignition retard and the right timing maps.

I guess its an EPROM 94 GS ECU.

Yeah it should be pretty easy tho - just add knock sensor wire, and wires for pins 23 and 31.

Like the Jan 1994 to June 1994 models? Or is it based on tranny option?
