Starting problem

My car won't start right away. After turning the ignition couple times it will start. I was told it's the starter or the switch itself. The battery's fine, the engine cranks fine too. Any suggestions?

there is a sticky post in this section for starter trouble shooting.. check all that but im willing to bet its the starter

I would think starter solenoid or the key switch. If it cranks just fine without making a clicking, grinding or spinning/whining noise, then your starter itself is probably fine.

check see if there there is fuel going to the chamber

Do you here a click when you turn the key forward? If so id say the starter is bad, i had the same problem last year.

My 7g is currently spinning/whirling... I charged the battery, replaced the alternator, rewired the fuel pump and don't know what to check next.

Any Advice???
