Buying affordable, aggresive, and responsive tires (opinions)

Hey guys, around christmas time I will be on the market for some affordable tires that look aggressive, and will handle well. My price range is about 130$ or less a pop, size 225-40-18.

    Anyone have any good suggestions?

    Thanks guys!

well are u looking for responsive summer tires or responsive all season tires

  7. #7
Summer tires, cuz I live in AZ, so there really isn't such a thing as seasons here :P

Guys I know someone discount, so I'd like to buy from there, plus they give you a warranty so they replace your flats and everything for like a year, and they do free rotations and balancing, and mounting, and I don't think you get a discount through an online store do you?

    Nitto NeoGens...?

They are a responsive tire and held up great for me and a buddy. The price isn't bad either.

x2 but if he wants strictly a summer tire, there are better options. You could probably get 912's for less than 130 each and have a decent all-season tire. BFGoodrich G-Force Sport's and Yokohama Parada Spec 2's might be good options.

Cool guys, thanks a lot, keep the suggestions coming. I'd like something with a good lifespan as well, if that narrows it down at all.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

I checked out the NeoGens, they look sick and seem to have decent specs. Lifespan is 280 though, bummer :(

    I rock BFG KDW2s.

Other than that the Goodyear Eagle GTs are nice performance all seasons.

I'd also suggest the Hankook Ventus EVO12s, they are brand new Max Performance summer tires. Will be a little on the high end price range, but worth every penny.
