I tried to come to MN once, but my car shut down at the MN WI border. It said it was too cold to continue or something like that.
OK yeah, I'm not so much looking forward to meeting you... hahaha

Nice one Dave. I really don't think it's much colder here. Besides, you won't have to worry about it being cold in August.

Finally above 60 degrees today! Couldn't resist the temptation to go pick the car up and bring it home. Cleaned the interior a little bit and got a better look at my recently discovered coolant leak. Can't wait until tomorrow to get my CSF radiator and put it in.
Trunk has turned into a storage locker of extra 8G and 3G parts. I might have to sell some of these soon.

The interior looks good.
Sorry to hear about the damn coolant leak, i've been riddled with them the last couple months, and it seems this platform has problems with them. First it was my top radiator hose on the engine side, replaced that and then the bottom one started leaking on the engine side. Got mad and then the top one started leaking again.... :(
Shit pisses me off, oh and the Eclipse was leaking at one of the heater core hoses. SO i tore the engine bay apart, replaced them, done a coolant flush, and now the heater core is semi-clogged. Blows cold on the driver side and warm on the passenger side.
I give the F*** up. Good luck with fixing yours and I love your car :D

Thanks!
Lucky for me, it won't be hard at all to fix. That sucks to hear about the reoccurring problems you keep running into. It didn't sound all that bad until reading about the heater core. Have fun with that one. Mitsubishi wasn't really thinking when they designed the heater core placement on this platform, though you will learn a lot in the process.

ahhh man everyone and his/her mothers have Evo VIII wheels now.. except me :(
I'll listen to the exhaust clip later though :)
Oh snap! Here comes a change of plans.
Today I picked up a super-clean, low mileage 6G75. Looks like my 6G74 just may end up being a fancy paper weight or end table lol.

can i has 6g72 tb? lol
but all joking aside, this looks great!
I'm sure we can negotiate a price. It's just been sitting around since last July when I switched to the 6G74 Intake and TB. And thanks, it will look even greater when it's in. :)
Thanks Jigz! That's how we do! The 3.0 just doesn't have enough power.

If i were closed to you id buy your 74 if youd sell it. Too bad, I want one for the Stratus.
02StratusRT and 00EclipseGT
I think if I were to sell it, I would just look for the price I have into the machine work which is $300. Although, it's only the block and crank. Many of the other parts I need to transfer over to the 75 so it will work in my car.

Sell me your old auto trans, since mine is about to blow up.

No problem Wright.

Water pump and timing belt done. Just need to paint a few parts, re-assemble minor things, and wait for my clutch to arrive.
