Full Synthetic oil 5 Qt jug for $7!!

Just left Wally World and had to let you guys know I caught them slippin. Even though I usually use Castrol Syntec, that runs $26 for a 5 qt jug, I decided to try Quaker State Q Power full synthetic since it was marked $17 for a 5 qt jug. I change my oil about once a month due to the amount of miles I drive, and decided to see how good this Quaker State oil was. When I got rung up, it came up as $7 and believe me I was shocked!! The only thing I can guess is that someone messed up the pricing in the stores computer since they are doing remodeling and the synthetic bottle looks just like the regular. Anyway, I went back and bought 12 more (8 for me and 4 for my boy). So it looks like I'm almost set for the rest of the year on oil changes. I just hope this stuff is pretty good.

I noticed that the walmarts around here stopped selling the tough guard filter for the 2g/7g within the last month.. Now i had to purchase a tough guard extreme for 8 bucks. Supposedly it will last 10k miles but ill never change oil without changing the filter. Its stupid if you ask me.

I run AMSoil again, I'm happy. I'll run it for a year or more hahaha, no $7 for me, ever.

I just did a search to see the best synthetic oil, and it looks like Amsoil is one of the best you can buy. According to search my search Valvoline, Pennzoil, and Mobil 1 round out the top ones. As far as filters go here are the ones that were rated the best out there, and their average prices:
    Purolator Pure One- $9.50
    Mobil 1 extended- $16.50
    Purolator classic- $8.75
Wix spin-on- $4 (also sold under Napa gold and silver)
    Baldwin- $N/A
