There a lot a good information here. We certainly have a lot of misconceptions, and I am glad we can clear some out.
I was told that more air than spec, by 5-7 PSI more = fuel savings, with some minor compromising of safety/grip.
Stock numbers are indeed 32 front, 29 back, (as mentioned before by others) just because the front holds more weight and needs extra pressure on braking.
I'm gonna do 37F/34R I think.
I've got the Yokohama YK520 right now,
225/45R17 91H Part No. 31729
max load @ pressure 1356@51
So 37 PSI sounds pretty OK.
