Thx man, I decided to help her hook it up. It was completely stock when she got it, & absent of style. I dont like the Altimas stock, but they look good when fixed up. Here's another pic:
Only other plans for it are Apexi Mufflers & NISMO suspension. I already modded the midpipe to a 2.5" pipe, so the mufflers will finish it off. Sad to say but this car performance wise, puts my car to shame. That 3.5 V6 motor is killer!
The Altima looks amazing, I would also add the oem spoiler:

it needs a drop IMO, my dad got an 2010 altima, and fore 2.4 that thing is pretty quick i dont like the transmission thought the CVT, sounds like the ting is broken lol
^ agree, cvt, wait.................. what?lol
Thx, yeah she doesnt like that spoiler though. She likes the SE-R spoiler better as do I. Prob get that one in the future.
Yeah it does need a drop, but thats why I said I plan to get the NISMO suspension to eliminate most of the wheel gap.
Yeah what are you talkin about with the CVT? I believe the 4cyl Altimas are 2.5L not 2.4L. And they come with 170HP if I remember correctly...
the newer models have the CVT trannys

Cotinuously Variable Trannsmission, Its the trannsmission with many different gears, the easitest way to explain it is that its like a bike it has different sprocket sizes that alternate. Shiftless basically, the are really confusing as hell
heres a better explanation

Ah i didnt catch that part, your right they are 2.5
thats correct sir, some of the older ford focuses had them too.
the SE-R is a beast!!

Altimas arent that fast. A mid 14sec pass is pretty good for a stock grocery getter, but nothing really to brag about. What is important is how well they take to performance mods?
7g for life!
Ahh ok, I remember now. Ive heard of them before, but forgot about em.
Yeah I can imagine, thx, I know it'll prob be a while before we get one tho.
Its not the fastet car in its class, but definitely a notable selection in terms of the V6. And still fast enough to keep me content. Not too sure yet on how it responds to performance mods. The drop in filter yieded better MPG, and a little extra torque at HWY speeds. IMO the motor doesnt need more than an intake and full exhaust i.e. Headers to mufflers. After that it'll have ample HP to keep a smile on my face for a four door grocery getter. But IMO Nissan's 3.5L V6 is one of the better engines out right now that has the best bang for your buck.
