Not really, other than bolt-ons for now. I still have the headers. As a matter of fact I had them out of the box just the other day :)
Very nice. No upgrades to it? What ever happened to those headers?

Cool the engine alone is an upgrade can't wait to see some videos. Are the headers going on too?
man that thing is massive
You better hurry up and finish it haha. Swap your 72 or 74 valve covers over if you have them still. It will look a lot cleaner if you aren't going to use the engine cover...plus it's "stealth mode" which is good.
Headers are going on for sure. I just have to extend the Y-Pipe slightly.
I'm doing what I can Matt. I've been feeling kind of sick lately, so I've been slacking pretty badly. It never came with the cover, which is fine with me, so my original 72 valve covers are going on once it's in.

I think this completes the parts list for installation. XTD 6-puck Stage 3 Clutch from Aimco. Slightly overkill for now, but by next spring it will be necessary.

Damn I want to see, hear a 6g75 8g already, its going to be a beast.
4g64T 5spd
I hope so. It's going to be tough to resist opening it up during the clutch's break-in period.

meh.. I found it was the opposite for me haha. I didn't really open up until the clutch was reallly broken in and I didn't really get any urge.. strangely. Maybe the secret is being busy all the time haha
New tail lights thanks to fatal1. Probably the only JDM this car will see.
Also working some minor things out and now have all the accessory brackets and tension pulleys I need from my donor 74. If it hasn't been confirmed already, the P/S pump bracket and P/S belt tensioner from the 74 are direct bolt-on and line up perfect on the 75.
Last but not least, I came across a small detail for anybody looking to do this swap while keeping their A/C in tact. Look closely at the bracket I'm holding from the 74, and the one from the 75 which is bolted to the block already. There are 2 places for bolts which stick out and cause the A/C compressor bracket to not sit flush (one high, and one low). I either recommend switching to the 74 bracket while the timing belt is out, or grinding down the 2 bolt holes which cause the interference.

So this weekend was a good holiday weekend. My friend and I decided to hammer out the 6G75 swap I've been planning for awhile and as of 2:42PM CST today, it's done and running. Pictures will be up soon as I transfer them from my phone to the computer :)

I got the video. It runs! Awesome work, bro!!! :D
If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.
Pics are here finally.
The 75 as of Thursday. Almost ready to swap some parts over.
Friday Evening: Let the fun begin.
Friday Night: 6G72 is out!
Saturday: Installed the clutch and swapped valve covers onto the 75.
Saturday Evening: 6G75 Getting comfortable.
Saturday Night: It was getting late, and it had been a long day. This was where I finished for the day.
Sunday Afternoon: This is where I finished up before meeting up with polishmafia and skyhigh90210.
Monday Morning: Finished up the exhaust. Had to extend the downpipe to fit the 75 since RPW's headers were designed for the 6G72.
Monday Afternoon (2:42PM): It lives!

nice!
1) get rid of that 3.0L valve cover ASAP!
2) I wonder how lean you're running? I know on my 6G74 I had an AFR of about 15.0 in the low end (scary) when I dyno'd at RRE
Haha what's wrong with the valve cover? It's a nice surprise. And I'm not sure how lean. Hopefully not that bad. I'm running it with the 6G74's injectors, no cat, and I'm getting no SES light. I plan on getting an E-manage for it very soon.
