I used a heatgun cause that's what I have and they don't fit in my oven so I don't know about temp, I just heated it and tried to pry, so I took my time. For sealing back I think I'm going to use the same glue it has just melt it and push hard, If it fog I will use the nissan OEM rubber butyl sealer, check at HIDPlanet there's a whole thread about that sealer.

Edit: Ohh they are FX-R's (FX35 Replica) lol @ the R2-D2 comparison

Ripped off the intake manifold to get to the exhaust header bolts. Also replaced spark plugs while I was in there.

Freshly painted jdm rear bumper and rear side skrits

Had to cut some of the bumper support off for fitment

    Megan Headers installed

    Magnaflow exhaust installed

obviously the finished product next to my brothers eclipse =)

Weekend progress... Kept me busy lol.

Hmm interesting. I have put a few JDM rear bumpers on and never once did I need to cut the rear crash bar. I had to remove the foam, but that was it.

I had ordered a fiberglass one from Cali's GB and it wouldn't fit without cutting that. Not sure if that makes it any different but it was flexing bad when I had tried bolting it up.

I didnt have to do that with mine either, once I took the foam off it bolted right up... And mine is from Cali's GB as well.

Maybe its a 1999 thing? Not sure. The foam in the center of it on my car is only about 2 inches thick at most. The change between the usdm style bumper and the jdm style bumper is more than the 2 inch foam which would make it bulge out in the center.
