Yes, only thing on the belt side that would leak antifreeze is the water pump. Also could be a headgasket leak, but if the car is running, that wouldn't be the case.

Took it to a guy on Wednesday. He called me Thursday to let me know that it is the water pump that is busted. Ordering a new one and gonna get the timing belt changed at the same time. Gonna cost about 425 to get done but what can you do.

$425, really? I'm just wondering, Why don't you do it yourself?

This is a family friend thats doing it to and its a lot cheaper than what other places quoted me.

When it gets down to things like the timing belt and stuff I dont bother messing with it. I have neither the pt nor the know on working on these galants.
