test fitting an 18x8.5" rim with a +44 offset......these are the vr4 3kgt rims but, the rim i am looking to buy when i sell my eclipse is the same size/offset. i think fender flares and stretching the tire should make that look pretty good =]
ps. dont make fun of the lines of the heads and front bumper, i havent finished bodywork yet, hence the lack of my extensions, side skirts and rear bumper/extensions.
that's a cool pic Jigz. And Kyle, once the car is actually lowered onto the ground with the wheels and a little bit of stretch on the tire, I think the wheel lip might actually match up with the fender fairly well
well i will get fender flares either way, and put 205/40/18 tires on them. if that stretches too much then 215/40/18s will do the trick. ive got both sizes anyway haha. plus ive gotta roll the fenders quite a bit anyway before i go lower.
:/ i aint feeling them...car looks good tho!
Kyle if you roll the 1/4's and fenders you can probably get away with a 235 tire and some negative camber, my old wheels were 18x8 +30 with 235's and I never rubbed, my new wheels are 18x8.5 +25 with 235's and I just barely clear with about 2 degrees camber up front and 2.5 out back.

You shouldn't need to stretch tires with a 44 offset
