like an evo wheel i think the x's are 18x8.5 w/38mm offset. please correct me if im wrong but im 90% sure.
Avoiding the use of spacers, what offset wheel would I need to get flush look? or what combination of width and offest?

ive got boost on my mind.....
oh and the 8's and 9's are 17x8 w/35mm offset.
ive got boost on my mind.....
i don't think any of the OEM EVO wheels will sit "hellaflush" on the 9G since the 9G has such big wheel wells (OEM EVO wheels are easy fit's on the 8G which is much more limited in clearance than the 9G). i think you're going to have to tinker some w/ width/offset/camber/tire size to get poke/stretch/flush. keep in mind, that type of stance is not simply bolt on, there is alot of work involved to be "hellaflush". i would estimate a 20x9 +25, w/ a few degrees negative camber, rolled/cut fenders, on air or coilovers, would be a good starting point on the 9G... even that is a conservative estimate.
LOL "hella flush"
that's so wierd that he said "hella". i though "hella" was strictly a Bay Area thing. anyways the EVOs are 17x8 +38
"hella" is a NorCal word meaning "really" as in hella fresh, hella dope, hella tight etc. we used to beat my cousins up for saying that shit in SoCal. "hellaflush" (means really flush) is a car show/event/website sponsored by FATLACE in the bay area. it is focused on very aggressive offset and fitament, so i knew what the OP was talking about.
EVO wheels are not that aggressive on the 9G since the 9G has much bigger wheel wells than the 8G, and EVO wheels aren't even that aggressive on the 8G.
hella flush is alo used in NC.
Hellaflush is sooooooooooooooooo GAY. That blog and everything else on Fatlace's website sucks. (except JDMego, which is no longer on there)
Here's an idea. get wheels that fit your car
