Smoke Tails Opinions

I would lightly tint them 1 is ugly 2 and 3 are ok but way too dark I think

how you gonna go about painting these? i opened up some old tail lights to tint the inside, like i said in another thread. just been to lazy to paint them and re-assemble them. i can prolly do by this weekend if you wanna see. just to let you know...i'm not gonna be using these. i'm fine with the 3rd gen tail lights.

I say go jdm and do the lightest possible smoke, or switch to 02-03 tails and do the lightest smoke possible

If you get 02-03 tail lights and do #2 it would look much better than doing on the older tails. Mine are 01 tails and I wish I would've just gone with 02-03 tails. It gives the car a much cleaner look, without the ridges and lines.

One thing to consider is it's a bit challenging to mask off the reverse light section

What i did was kind of like 2 except i put 1 light coat of tint over the reverse lights. At night i can still see well but if you want the reverse lights clear then leave them clear.

I did #2 with the reverse cleared (or the little red screen taken out) on an 02 03 tail I think it looks hawt. But I was wondering is there a brighter bulb for the tails.... Cops like me at night no tickets yet but I don't want any either.
