    It's been a while - here's what I've been up to

    Hey all. Been really busy as of late. Wife, baby and all. But the past couple weeks I've really fulfilled some dreams of mine.

    As some may know, I'm a huge hockey fan, and a bigger Blackhawks fan. They FINALLY won the Stanley Cup this year. My daughter actually started her escape during Game 2 of the Conference Final. So that's plenty for a great year, right? Well check this out:

    #1: I've always wanted to take part in painting the Blackhawks logo on center ice @ the United Center. Strange request, but I had no idea how I'd get something like that done. Enter this video: http://video.blackhawks.nhl.com/vide...d=894&id=74924

    So yeah, that was awesome. And...

    #2: I play hockey just about every Thursday night w/ my dad and Hawks radio play-by-play voice John Wiedeman. Soon after the Hawks' win he had mentioned if he got a day w/ the Stanley Cup, he'd bring it out for us. That was a while ago and I'd assumed it wasn't happening.

    sweet! i'm an NBA fan (lakers) and i had the opportunity to take pics and hold the championship trophy from 2009... it is pretty cool and really hard to explain how special it is so i know how cool it was for u and the stanley cup... even more so since there's only 1! awesome 4 u and ur dad!
