starting fluid makes for an amazing cleaner for just about anything or carb cleaner same difference and they both evaporate quickly too.
I'm working on my outlander intake mani swap. I got the mani from a junk yard. I noticed a bad carbon deposit on the intake mani. Is there any chemical liquid to remove it or to clean it, any advice. Thanks.

i dont think it would hurt it just make sure to clean it off after and if its on the outside of the mani you can sand and polish it too makes it look all purdy XD

Carb and brake cleaner is much more potent than degreaser. If its that much, find a local engine machine shop and have the manifold hot tanked, it may cost about $25 but it will be worth it.

x2... or if you want to just do it yourself soak it in carb/brake cleaner and give it a good wipe down before installing it
try 2+2 that cleaned up my tb that brake and carb cleaner coulndnt get
I'm going to check it out. I need to get that cancer out. I need nice flowing air going in. Also I don't want that junk getting on the pistons
The brake cleaner works really well; I used it on my manifold. Just make sure not to spray any sensors or anything that may be on there.
