If you are breaking the engine back in then i would say a normal cheap oil will be fine, cause you have to change it 500 1000 2000 and then 3000 just run a cheap oil, till it broken in then got with a good synthetic. Stay away from penzoil its SHIT, valvoline is the top rated "shelf" synthetic that is what i run in all my car's i used to use mobile 1 and a wix now i use valvoline synpower and a wix.

To this day I still run conventional valvoline oil in my car. There is a HUGE thread over on EvoM about how terrible Mobil1 is. If the motor was meant to use synthetic, it would have had it from the factory. Alot of the high power EVO guys run AMSOIL, Eneos and Bradd Penn. Either way, your spending about $7+ per quart. Again, im still staying with conventional for now........

Thats because Mobil1 pays them money for it. Its advertising dollars well spent. So vehicle owners who cant think for themselves wander into autozone and buy mobil1 for as long as they own the car. There are countless threads about how crappy Mobil1 really is. Its nowhere near as good as the products offered by Amsoil and Bradd Penn. Mobil1 is the "cheap" synthetic oil.

i put in pennzoil syn drove home its was like amile or two then switched to reg catrol conventional oil
