you cant say uor car is running rich just like this. at least you need a wideband to monitor your A/F ratio.
is your exhaust black? how did you determine this?
the easiest way is to increase the spark plug gap
So I am almost positive my car is running super rich. My question is how do I combat this....how do I lean it out a little. I dont have any engine management or fuel regulators or anything like that so I cant figure out how the stock ecu's settings have changed! OH if I change the ecu do you think that would help, I do have another ecu sitting in my office here...wonder if that would make a difference. Any suggestions?

yeah there is a ton of soot on my back bumper. There is no black smoke from the exhaust when I accelerate...well not visibly anyways. But there is a lot of soot on the bumper. I am not paying 300+ bucks for a wideband when I am 95% sure the car is running rich
