    noob question radio install needs

Thought I should ask just to make sure before I order, I have a new head unit on order.

for a 2003 galant ES, 4 cyl, does not have infinty system

do I need an antenna adapter? did not see one listed on site as needed.

also is the the adapter I need for the install

    http://www.installer.com/cars/by_car.php?carid=3952

    metra 70-7001

no other install kit needed I think

looking at the radio it comes out to an iso plug, is there an adapter from factory plug to iso plug?

tried some searching on forums and didn't find it, if I did not do my due diligence then I apoligize.

    thanks for the help

x2. The unit comes with an universal adapter. The audio place don't use them they just cut the wires and attach them to the stock one. It depends how the audio place do it. Just take the car with new unit and let them check it out. It should be no problem with them.

thanks for the help, sounds like I will have to cut the iso plug on the new radio, but can use a 70-7001 metra plug, so I don't have to cut the car plug that went into the factory radio.

    thanks for the help

i need help with installing my sony xplod head unit. its model CDX-GT240 and i cut the plug off the stock adapter and am attaching the new head unit wires to the mitsubishi wires. i matched up all the speaker wires but i cant seem to match up the ground, constant power, and accessory power wires. the mitsubishi wires are colors red with white stripe, blue, and yellow with black stripe. the wires left on my new adapter are yellow, red, and black. do you guys know how they match up??
