x2. The unit comes with an universal adapter. The audio place don't use them they just cut the wires and attach them to the stock one. It depends how the audio place do it. Just take the car with new unit and let them check it out. It should be no problem with them.
thanks for the help, sounds like I will have to cut the iso plug on the new radio, but can use a 70-7001 metra plug, so I don't have to cut the car plug that went into the factory radio.
thanks for the help
i need help with installing my sony xplod head unit. its model CDX-GT240 and i cut the plug off the stock adapter and am attaching the new head unit wires to the mitsubishi wires. i matched up all the speaker wires but i cant seem to match up the ground, constant power, and accessory power wires. the mitsubishi wires are colors red with white stripe, blue, and yellow with black stripe. the wires left on my new adapter are yellow, red, and black. do you guys know how they match up??
found this for ya.. y didnt u just buy the harness instead of rigging it up?

i hononstly dont know why. guess im just dumb. and yea i found that too but the Constant 12v+ wire that they say is RED/BLACK. i dont have that on my stock harness. there is one that is RED/WHITE but not the red/black one
hmm idk what one it would b i just bought the harness lol if i was in ur situation id go grab a bunch of fuses and keep touching all the wires to the ground, 12+ should be the only that sparks i belive. id see if any1 else has a answer first though
i dont recomend going that route but desprite times call for desprite measures
hmm.. maybe ill just attach the stock adapter back to the wires and put stock radio back in.
if u know where all the wires go to id do that then just pick up the adapter
