    V6 2.5 4WD Galant ... 6G72 TT swap?

    Hello guys,

I'm new to the galant world but not new to the mitsubishi engines.
I'm long time member of 3SI.org forums.

Well I just came across something that got me REALLY excited.
    A 1996 V6 2.5l 4WD galant for sale...

I'm stunned... the engine is almost the same as the 6G72. Coupled with the AWD tranny, this car can be a MONSTER sleeper with a TT 6G72 swap.

So I'm looking for more info about this car... I'd like to know a few things about the tranny (is it the same getrag as the 3S?, will it bolt right up to a 6G72?...) the engine (what are the differences between this one and the 6G72, are engine mounts placed the same?) Is there an FMIC available for this model? and al lot of other things

    Thanks!
    ZB
    PS: I live in Europe.

    yeah I know it's not the 6G72 since its a 2,5 liter
That's why I'm looking for more info.

Anyone knows the engine code of the 2.5l V6 that is in this car?

OK I found some more data about the car.

    It's a 6G73 2.5l 24V V6 and it looks REALLY similar to the 6G72.

From unconfirmed source, this should be the same engine with different bore and/or stroke.
So I guess this would be a direct bolt on. (well except for the rear turbo that might cause some trouble.
