gas guage off.

when i installed my el's i took the gas needle off and i have done everything imaginable to fix it but it is still off. i have waited till i had no gas and set it at e, it went up but it never came down. i have done everything to recalibrate it but i don't know what else to do. can someone help?

point the needle down as far as you can. do it carefully, don't force it down or you're ognna break it. this should reset the needle.

but yea its ognna have trouble moving if its rubbing on the EL gauges so make sure they're not popping up. you might even want to put some double stick tape behind it to make sure.

try a search there's like a dozen threads on this subject, you might find something that oculd help u out
