    Synthetic ATF?

Do I really need Mobile 1 Synthetic ATF? I've heard a lot of good things about Mobile 1 Synthetic engine oil, but not much about ATF.
Any comments please? I put 90,000 miles on my Galant and I am about to do the first ATF change.. (I know I should have done it earlier....).
    Thanks guys...

    Use only Mitsubishi Tranny Fluid.
    Chip

    2000 Basalt Black Metallic GTZ
    (Paint Code: Porsche LC9Z)

Genuine experience carries a lot more credibility than the ability to answer a question.

Use Mitsu. Actually...for most services OEM parts are about as good as it gets. Only thing I can think of that's not specifically OEM is the motor oil.

I think it should but if you look at the service maintence interval for the ATF, it just says "check", not "replace". Plus most of it is highway mileage... well... I think I really need one now and I think I will do it over the weekend. I just found out that the dealer charges $5 for 1 qaurt of ATF. I don't know if that's reap off or good price but since everyone is suggesting genuine ATF, I will go with it...
Thanks for all your your inputs.
