Better to reset the ECU when your engine is warm or cold?

My 8G is a tad bit jumpy when pressing on the accelerator. I want better gas mileage instead of squealing my tires on a green light. I know I shouldn't accelerate so quickely but sometimes I cannot help it. So what is the answer. Anyone:?: Also which terminal do I disconnect and for how long?

Wow I haven't heard this one before but in theory when we reset the tranny we disconnet the positive battery terminal for about 15-30 minutes. reconnect hit the highway floor it. this should cause you to redline at just about every gear.

However for what your talking about you might wanna do the opposite. Disconnect and just drive normal. like through the city. Your computer will conform to your standards. If you wanna go fast then drive fast. but if you wanna be.......conservative then dont.
