I don't know what that mean. The torque converter bolts onto the flex plate with 3 bolts and the flex plate has 7 bolts holding it to the crank. Find a good working used one so you have the right part
So I know I need to replace my torque converter on my 97 Galant. I just called Autozone and they have two types the 14 bolt and the 15 bolt. Unfortunately my car is that the garage and I have no way of finding out with one I need until Monday. I was wondering if you guys might be able to help me with that so I can get the part ordered sooner. Thanks.

I'm really not a car person and don't know what any of it means. I just wondered if I could figure out which one is right without my mechanic taking the car apart.
Thanks.
