Nice. Make sure you use a torque wrench when torquing down the intake manifold. If you over-torque it, that heat barrier gasket will leak from everywhere.
Just ordered 65mm ported throttle body and ported intake manifold by buschur racing. should arrive by friday.

Nice progress and I think I'm going to have to set up a South Florida meet next time I'm out there. I drive down there every summer and stay out there for 3 week. I never see any of these cars when I visit my fam out in hollywood, Miami and fort lauderdale.

Well ported intake manifold and throttle body came in today from busher racing.
Put the intake manifold back together with the new parts.
Does anyone know what the function of this valve is? On the side of the manifold. It's getting vacuum from the manifold and then theres a vacuum line that goes to the stock FPR, which I'm not gonna use. where does it go to?

i dont know if you got an answer but that is the fuel pressure solenoid.

well havent been updating in a while...big updates.... engine is complete, just waiting for my FP red to come in. working on the interior as well... but enough talking...here are the pics

Nice work with the interior, thats what i'm going for. I even ask a sample from their website very good quality.
What is the C/R of the piston?
i paid for a complete motor...so i would not make up the difference by selling the bottom end...and plus now i have a 64 bottom laying around...who knows...maybe a future project there...
i am happy with their quality carpet...just have to do a little trimming and looks like factory..
C/R is stock evo but im using an HKS 1.2mm head gasket...so should be 8.5.1
