Icon5 Great ideas but can we see some results?

Can we see more before and after pics of the LED upgrades you've done? I'm thinking about doing the blue on the cluster and ignition ring (that could change...) but at this point I'm more concerned about getting the right amount in the right size. Where's the best source for both the internal (cluster/ door/ HVAC...) and the running/ brake LED lights? If I'm going to do it, I might as well do it all! One site had them for $5.95 US each, so if anyone has found a site that has them for less then speak up.

    Thanks!

I get mine off eBay. I've had pretty good luck with eBay. As for the amounts and sizes for the cluster it's already in an earlier post. If your a 7g then look for the bulb list for all the bulb sizes. I can try to get some updated pics but the only before and after pics are the ones that are already in this thread. I now have 32 smd panels in both dome lights (see sig)and the trunk.

I sure do man but I'm no expert.lol I actualy had a better idea for the guage cluster LEDs. The interior LEDs that I bought come with different hook ups and they will work in the gauges. It would only take 2 in sure and it'd be supper simple. I'll post a link for them latter.

    98m,

Thanks dude! I'll be looking for the info you provide. I did see the other posts and there is a lot of info there with differing opinions. How much were they on e-bay?

I think I got mine for around $10-$15 for all the gauge cluster LEDs. You just have to look for them on eBay. Prices are always different I found mine on sale.

Here's the link for the ones I used for the interior. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Light...#ht_3718wt_948

I think they are bright enough that if you bought 2 they would light up the gauge cluster. One for each side. Now I don't know for sure but if it did work that would be cheaper. It would require you to take the gauges out completely inorder to mount them inside.

i just trim the T10 socket, and it fits the T6.5 casing..

my E55 meter a bit difference from yours,it needs 2 xT10 and 5 x T6.5 to light up whole meter instrument.

What button is that? I may not have it. Have you tried the gauges with the four lights in? They are pretty bright so you may be able to get away with it.

the "A/T mode" on the shifter,i manage to take it out today, but the problem is ,the bulb is too small, where to find smd that small like it?
    perhaps T3, T4.2 or T4.7?
i just order extra T10 5 smd from ebay, will post the picture once i complete.

After looking at my cluster and yours it looks like I have a light where you are geting the dark spot and you dont. You could conect a light to the working light with some wire and glue it into place or something. And ya I have never seen that button in my life.lol
