Sorry I didnt get back to you with the wires, it completely slipped my mind but my friend was the one that worked with these and I have no clue how the wires go. If you didnt figure out yet, I can try to figure out also and help you there.
haha, well then, thank you!! and it's not a problem dude, it's been sitting in a box at home while I was away at school anyway. Green for you!! lol

The 2.0 can read the 1999 ECUs. Also, they don't make the 1.3 anymore and the 2.0 is compatible with a lot more stuff.

How u doing bro. Nice pics. I have good and bad bews for the ecu roms. I spend a good amount of time searching and decoding the hex from the rom. For the 99 ecu is only pulling out 128k memory so is not pulling out the load and rpm values. 256k is the right amount. I gues it have to do with the h8 ecu models. That is why it shows a mess up rpm and load values because the xml is pointing to the wrong load and rpm memory locations. We will have to miss and match to see if is there. I will have to check if the ecu is lock.

The good news is that i was able to get or pull out the 02 2.4l galant definition "xml" i will sent it to matt so he could double check the data. Soon i going to tune the ecu.
    Get some diamante injectors
    Change the maf maps
    The hight octane fuel
    Etc.
Im going to start data loging to see where shes at. I got my AFRs

Awesome! I'm glad you like the pictures. Too bad my buddy with the nice camera equipment wasn't with me.

Well when I looked up the H8/539F memory chip in a data sheet, it said that it only has 128Kb flash memory. I can post up the data sheet if you would like. I can email you my ROM and current, uncompleted definition files too if you'd like. You can PM your email address if you haven't already. I have your phone number now so I'll give you a call or text later.

Nice pics! Cars looks good. Were these pix taken by your University? I think Corey still has some blacked out USDM headlights with the amber reflectors for sale. They would look really good on there. Any plans for the tails? Those really kill the back end IMO...

Thanks Will, yeah this is by Montana de Oro, close to Morro Bay. In fact you can see Morro Rock in the background of some of the pictures. It's about 10 minutes drive from my school, down a nice road.

I don't know what you're talking about with the headlights.. but all right haha. And the taillights.. they don't bother me so much. Not enough for me to want to buy JDM tails anyway haha

PS: I had a dream last night that someone stole my Magnaflow muffler and welded some random POS on there. I was like NOOOOOO

installed the 6g74 injectors and rewrote the timing map to match the stock Diamante map. Flashed it, and the car runs.. but my hood won't latch. So I can't actually go test it out.

Oh, and my damn gas door broke yesterday :(

TAKE OFF THE HOOD! lol jk... Hey question. Does your hood rub on the strut towers?

I finally figured out the hood.. While it was propped up and i was working on the car, the hood shifted in its mounts ever so slightly (probably about 1mm) and this was enough to make the hole on the hood latch U-bar hit the guide rails on the latch itself. I was freaking taking apart the hood latch thinking it was faulty haha

So to those that buy a Seibon hood: Make sure the hole doesn't hit the rails! haha

And galantman03, no my hood doesn't hit the strut towers. Plenty of room. I believe the Monster style hood is made from a JDM mold though. Don't quote me on that though.

PS: since I finally got the hood situation figured out, I was able to take it for a short test drive. Little did I know that I forgot that I set the rev limiter to 2500 to do a test write a couple weeks ago.. So I get out on the street and hit the rev limit at 2500!! haha I was like WHAT THE HELL. Brain fart moment. I haven't done any extensive testing but at normal cruising and about 70% I am not seeing any signs of Knock.

PPS: Also, my gas door hinge broke, so the door was just dangling. Managed to fix it with some polyurethane and krazy glue lol
