pulled the turbo off, looks like some bolts pulled out of the turbo where the compressor housing mounts to the exhaust side. Took a bunch of pics since i never touched that part, took a video of me taking it off and when i noticed the problem HOPING to go that they will warrenty the thing.

dude it looks and sounds good, anyone who thinks its too loud clearly isnt around big turbo mitsus all day. sounds good. sorry to hear about the turbo

thanks dude lol 3rd gear is money on that thing. been looking at my logs, never went past 70% throttle.

Dude I live in SoCal, the "Mecca" of modified car culture. I see and hear anything & everything you name it: Eclipse's, Evo's, 240's, Subie's, etc all day. With any and every combinations of modifications imaginable. It comes to a matter of opinion, IMO it was a little too loud. Draws too much attention from cops and ricers. Nothing a good resonator or different muffler couldnt fix...

Yea its cool I love the way the car sounds its going to stay the cops in wi are pretty relaxed caue of the influx of harleys and crap that are ten times louder then the galant

Turbo is all boxed up and ready to be shipped back for warranty tomorrow. Should see it back in a week or so. Uploaded a new tune to the galant today just need to get that damn turbo back so i can try it out again. Also added some insurance to the galant and going to put plates on it this week or next.

Should have the turbo back this week or next week. Needs a full rebuild, when it separated and the wheel hit the exhaust housing it messed the exhaust wheel up, bent the shaft, shredded a seal, ruined a bearing and the housing. The turbo is not under warranty and i guess you are supposed to check those bolts when you get them idk, all they are making me pay is the labor which is 110 bux and return shipping.

Fixed just in time for cotm, waiting for voodoo to get here so we can go do some pulls :) New oil drain from the oil filter housing.

need to reset up my boost controller, just hooked it up how i thought it should go since HKS has all Japanese instructions till i found the translated version and found out i have it all wrong and no warning level set is why i was over boosting.
