bought my 5spd trans

Intalled my AEM AFR.
AFR from the factory are really bad. The maps are really lean avg 15.7 lean side. This have to do to USA emession. Need to fix that asap. Tune tune tune.
Dont mess with it at all. Its leaned out like that to get you better fuel economy. No need to mess with the stock map if your car is mostly stock. Once you turbo it, then mess with the tune. Adding fuel now will only hurt your fuel economy.

Thanks for the info Brian. I have the basic mods for it. Headers, intake, outlander intake mani, diamante tb. I belive is to much air coming in and the ecu dont know how to handle the extra air. But it feels that it needs a tune. Feels laggy. Right now plans are changing a little. Going to try tuning just a lil not a whole lot. Going with some evo injectors and re-scale them to get the afr around the 13's. Also going 5 speed soon. The evo project is on hold for now. I just dont like the whole lean Idea.

Alright well my m3 style lip spoiler really wasn't doing it for me since I messed up the paint by not giving it enough time to dry after painting, thus ending up with fingerprints in it. That was like a 2-3 weeks back. Then I made matters worse by trying to remove them lol with 0 knowledge in paint and body work. Anyway took I it off cause I can't stand being half a$$, not to mention they sent the wrong size to begin with. Lesson learned. Since then I got an oil change, and bought a few items for these:
And now said items:
Hopefully my next post will be by this weekend where all three come together and meet the car.

It would be different if Google were a hardware maker as well as the OS developer like Apple does with the iPhone, things would be more equal, but Google doesn't care, because it makes its money from search ad revenue, no matter the platform, Android, IOS, etc., they still get paid. I like Apple because their products work for a non-techie like me, my iMac still works like brand new more than a year after I bought it, same with my two-year-old iPhone (minus its battery), I know no one who can say the same about Androids and Windows machines unless they know their way around a computer more so than the average end-user. /rant now.
