remove the needle, fill ur tank all the way up, put the needle on Full,
QNZ do you think that what you told me would work,to remove needle and fill the car gas full and than put the needle back on Full..
i know it will, i did it before lol
ive done it too.
n3oAcid24 = 01' Galant I4
so when i do that than the needle from gas gauge will be in normal situation as it was before
Yes anyone that has messed with their gauge cluster has to go through that process to re align the fuel needle correctly.
thanks to you all guys who came here and telling me the good solution...all of you guys rock..i will try tomorrow that solutions....once again thanks
keep in mind, it won't be 100% accurate.
well, if u put it on F u'll always have enough when u see the gauge low lol
ya...i've done it that way. i've also put the needle on when the gas light first turned on and stuck it where i thought the needle should be at that point, too.
but yeah...hangovers suck. ugh...
IMPORTANT: Trust the light no matter what the needle says. And when you reposition your needle just lay it on dont smash it down or it will not work and you will damage the mechanism.
My car had a full tank maybe once in the time I owned it. I used the low fuel light to realign mine.
