    My latest project a few weeks ago. It's funny how much difference that manifold makes on the 6g75.

    you should try and get that 90 degree turn out of the intake tract. it will flow better.

    I agree, needs a more direct routing of the piping...

    Thanks guys. yeah its the 6g75 non mivec manifold. I finally got around to swapping it on because the 74 mani has been on since the engine swap over a year ago. thought it would be a good idea to bring it closer to completion.

    I was thinking of cutting the pipe before the bend for that reason but it helps angle it down into the massive hole of fresh air.

    Something more like this would be more effective and better looking IMO:

    I ended up mounting it to the firewall. the picture was about 15 minutes before completion.

    I will snap a picture of Bj's 75 manifold since I have it sitting here at home. The bracket was pretty easy to mount on the manifold with what he did.

    Also, have you made any tuning progress yet? I see you are running the 482 MAF on there, if you haven't...check out the information below for some details on that MAF;

    Thanks for the info Matt :) I still haven't made any progress on the tuning end. I have way too many things happening right now to give much attention to the car but when I move at the end of the month I'm hopeful that things will change.

    Revival!

    Well since the car is parked for a few months, I decided to start working on it again. Ever since the 75 mani swap I've had this crazy RPM pulsing at partial throttle above 2k RPM. I tried everything I could think of, such as checking all my new vacuum routing, switching to the 75 rear valve cover (because the 72 valve cover hits the 75 plenum) and replacing all intake gaskets. Even Silvertune of c3g was poking around under the hood to see if we could put our heads together and figure it out, then it dawned on him. I had mounted the throttle cable bracket to the firewall due to the excessive length of the cable, but the engine rocking pulled on the cable causing it to open and close. I could've kicked myself. So I've been looking around at work for ways to shorten the cable and behold, I found these on the Help! rack. They share the same 5/16" OD as the original throttle cable end. Problem solved.

    And now the bracket will be bolted to the EGR valve upper bolt. You will need to drill out the bracket slightly since the bolt will not fit into the bracket without modification. But this is where it will mount.

    The other ongoing project isn't very far from moving along as well. Only the fenders and condenser are left to remove before grinding the radiator support off. This will be updated soon as well.
