Engine bay looks real good Adrian! Too bad you gotta stock it down for smog check, long as our CEL ain't on and the gas cap ain't leaky, we pass.

this look stock enough? damn SMOG check..
Took the mesh off to paint it black. This is going to look really cool once I paint one of my valve covers a nice bright color again :)

Question, wit an evo hood do we have to wry about water getting in if we get a lot of rain?being that it's not actually a fully-functional evo hood ((oem evo))
Can you size down your sig please? Thanks, Admin :)

your stock air box probably gave it away. looks like you put it in a rush right before your SMOG haha
and there's a lil cover that goes on the inside of the hood that he can put on and take off so that water doesn't get inside the engine bay
good pick up G-Code. gonna need some tuner style wheels to pull that off better though
no, the guy got suspicious the moment he saw my car. Purple wheels, CF hood, aftermarket muffler, etc. Then he opens the hood and sees a gold valve cover and wire tuck, polished exhaust shields, and is more suspicious. Not to mention that extra vacuum bell which didn't match his emission diagrams.
yeap, there is a cover underneath that doesn't have holes on it. The water still leaks through the sides of this cover obviously, but it falls off to the side of the engine instead of right on top of it.and there's a lil cover that goes on the inside of the hood that he can put on and take off so that water doesn't get inside the engine bay
I always wanted to divert the water fully to the edge when I ran this hood back then. The fact that it does still put more moisture in your engine bay while running which significantly increase damage to the engine components i.e rust, oxidation etc
On another note, just order 5ft x 75ft of saten gloss black high quality vinyl for 370$ from San Antonio. :) Stay tune!
