I bet you did not disconect the battery. first check fuse.
alright i was replacing my dash lights with led's because some were burnt out. put the cluster back in, speedo does not work now. any troubleshooting i can do? or am i screwed?
Check the harness. Make sure its pluuged in good. Then fuses.
speedo was working just fine before the "accident". harness hasn't moved, plugged in fine. All fuses look fine, idk what really to look for other than the gauges fuse underneath the dash and I checked every single fuse up front. the tach, temp, and fuel work fine. just the speedo. :(
no i did not disconnect the battery. it was very, very late.
Since it was working and suddenly stopped and since you pulled out the cluster, make sure that the harnesses that go to it are plugged in good and that none of the wires came out of its little socket.
Alright yeah that seemed to fix it just moving all the wires around. Now I have a very sweet gauge cluster! Thanks!!
Glad you got it working, No speedo = no safe-o (no homo)
bahaha, made me lol. Got everything on the car cleaned up now. Just installed mah 2.5 turbo-back. Now for the MAF gen II + a few other things (hehehehehehe)
