    DOHC most aggressive "stock" cams?

Does anybody have the specs on the dohc cams? I am installing valves today but want to put the most aggressive cams in with parts I have. I am using a 1g head with a modded distributor and staying na. I have or can get locally and cheap a set of GS cams, 97 Sonata cams and 1g na cams. I am thinking the GS cams are 264's and likely the best ones to go with but wanted to double check first.

Yeah the gs cams are the more agressive cams. They are an upgrade compared to the other two.

The G stamped cams are more aggressive 264/260 I believe, but they are rare and hard to find.

Here's more info on the GS specs.

According to that info the exhaust should be a h or g but both of mine look like k up front close to the cam gear.

The GS cams are somewhat like a weak HKS 264/272 cams or borderline HKS 264 cams but with very small lift.

Use a digital caliper and measure the cam lobes. If the cam height falls in the catagory of the GS cams then the duration should be the same as the GS cams.

Or just purchase some DeltaCam 264/272 cams.

seems a bit worn, the cams: about 9.2mm lift on the intake side and 8.3mm on the exhaust. appears to be the GS cams.

with my measurements and using a rocker ratio of 1.7:1 i got a lift of 8.85 intake and 8.25 exhaust. i will remeasure the intake to make sure as the exhaust is close enough

after a closer look and not taking measurements in a hurry and inaccurately here are the specs on got

    Cam Lobe Height
    Intake-1.400 inches - 35.56 mm
    Exhaust- 1.375 inches - 34.93 mm

    Cam Lobe Width
    Intake- 1.180 inches - 29.97 mm
    Exhaust- 1.180 inches - 29.97 mm

    Cam Lift
    Intake- .220 inches - 5.59 mm
    Exhaust- .197 inches - 5.00 mm

Valve Lift using 1.7:1 rocker ratio
    Intake- .374 inches - 9.50 mm
    Exhaust- .335 inches - 8.43 mm

I have some unresolved issues with DC. I will share my experience once they have the opportunity to make it right.

Thank you very much. It's always good to have an idea about the cams in there now before I mess with them. So I should be around the same duration with a little more lift from what I see there. Thanks again

Good. The 272/264 I have now required a bit of a heavy foot. If I went 272/280, it would be a bit unstreetable.
