Putting in work! Put on new A arms , tie rods and found my camber bolts to go back in. I sprayed my o2 sensors down with mas cleaner and brake cleaner hope that could fix things lol.

^^Knock sensor perhaps? Anyway, how hard was the control arms and tie rods to do?

Not hard at all cheif, unless you are doing the inner tie rods you gonna need special tool. Autozone has it in their loan a tool program. Without it super bitch to do.

Thanks homeslice, was wondering if bolts were froze up, I think I may have to do this soon, front end is starting to wander a little, get out the G and into the D and you notice it.

First of all you need a BFH! and some elbo grease the toughest part i found was banging the joint/stud out of the knuckle. For the passenger side took longer since i had to jack up the engine since the oil filter was in the way. I have a i4 btw and there 2 different kinds of control arms for the 8th gen so make sure you get the right one. Each side takes about a hour give or take. The outer tie rods are cake lol

Do you have air tools? That would make it easier to get the bolts loose and stuff.

I do but I need an air supply to drive them to use them at home, they stay in my toolbox at work where we have central compressed air lines every few feet, and i'll get suspended if they catch me working on my car at work lol.

Yeah an air compressor and an impact make it much easier for some things especially like frame bolts and stuff.

I got an Ingersol-Rand 1/2" and a Snap-On 3/8" impact that will bust through anything on a car like ours, they hold their own on the trains, and some of those fasteners are as big as 2.25" inch. I guess I may have to rent a compressor, because those things make the job so much easier.

Yeah they do that is what we used to do my rack and pinion and we had to drop the frame a little bit to, and drop the column it was a pain in the ass but it is finally done.

Yeah i drove it a little today it is a little stiff but it probably has some air in it still. If it isnt any better in a couple of weeks then i will probably need a new power steering pump.

That's what's up, glad she's running, hope it gets cleared up without a new PS pump.

Yeah i was talking to chris(galanttuner10) and he said take the wheels off of the ground and turn the wheel like 10 times to the stops to bleed the air out of it.

    Snap-on>IR.

I bet the Snap-on hits harder.
