got the same codes ill go out and get that for ya!
Ok. Since i'm officially 5 speed swapped on my 02 G. Lets talk about the CEL. there is like 11 codes or so that comes on when the swap is done. Can someone have in hand the codes. The laptop did not have charge and i can't check it. Is a good possibility since the PCM is not detecting the a/t the computer will go to limp mode.
Any comments are welcome. I want to really take a look at the ROM and some how make a xml code to disable the given codes for the automatic trani.
Does anyone has the codes. I need them so i could start checking today.

STAY READY AND YOU WONT HAVE TO GET READY!!
i beleive once u re-wire the speed sensor the main codes to worry about are the shift solenoid sensors
this is what came up on mine
p0758,p0753,p0743,p0768,p0763

I have the shift soleniod ones, and the PRD21 gear selector codes. I can't remeber what they are off the top of my head, but to get "rid" of the shift soleniod ones you can take apart your auto and get the soleniods and plug them into your harness. I did that it worked great no codes, BUT lol the PRD21 gear selector code came up and would never go away. I figured the ecu sends signals every once in a while to see if everything it still there. I just pulled the SES light bulb, and scanned for codes every other month. never had any other codes pop up, ever, just those 5 or 6.
Ok got them. Same here.
p0758 shift B
p0753 shift A
p0743 Torque converter
p0768 Shift D
p0763 Shift C
I will look in the rom for these codes. I'm see what i get.
Galantman i was think about that. to take out the sensor from the shift gear seleoids and plug it to the harneess. I think we need to ground a few cables. We just need to fool the PCM to thinking that the a/t is still there. But best bet is to disable or remove the a/t hex codes.
the sensor is the solenoid, they are pretty big, and there is 5 of them, you can make a box, and just plug them into the harness. I just got tired of the harness in the car, so I just took it out, and went evo 8 ecu, which doesn't even look for an a/t tranny anyways. But it would be nice for someone to figure out how to keep the stock ecu on the 02 03 without throwing codes. Computer programming is just out of my reach lol
LOL. Yeah. Thats what i'm going to work with. I will check the computer for the a/t and change the code so the computer wont read a/t.
All i have to say that all my hard work pays off. Who is the man
Kaboooooommmmm
Got the CEL off. No resistor no wire all pcm programing.
Good shit bro!

what did u have todo to get no cel. did u remove coding from the ecu? rewrite the ecu? do tell
Pcm re-write. Some hex code needed to be change. It took me a lots of hr trying to get it to work. Any hex change is very hard because you need to be 100% accurate.
drive to texas and fix mine lol
good job bro!!! that should help out alot of people who do the swap!!!
