 hummm...I should've done that sooner!!
why dont you read your vin # to find out?? i'm not sure what ALL the characters mean, but i bet the dealer would!!
Just a suggestion!!
 hummm...I should've done that sooner!!
DONT use Eclipse suspension on your Galant; although I think the springs/shocks would fit, the Galant is heavier [well, duuuuh] so the ratings are different & Eclipse bits will ruin the ride
there are a few companies that make springs for the Galants check out the "parts list" at the top of the 6th gen posts and info section
yess...I think that Intrax make some springs for the 6th gen Galant.
Well thank you very much everybody!!
I think that this thread is over now!!
8)
Just watch out.... There are AWD and FWD springs that are diferent. If your car is FWD than it's OK, but if your G-ride is AWD go with Whitelines...Originally Posted by speedrich

If your car is AWD spring & damper kits for the VR4 of the same age will fit, since the suspension setup is exactly the same.
actually it's a FWD... so I think I'll go with Intrax.
thank you very much guys!!
DODGE 2000GTX (AWD,dohc 2.0) (not sure about the 4ws)
EAGLE 2000GTX (AWD, dohc 2.0) (not sure about the 4ws)
GALANT DYNAMIC GTI (4WD,4WS, dohc 2.0)
GALANT GTI (FWD, dohc 2.0)
So FWD eagle2000gtx doesn't exist ?
I didn't find any info of that kind of eagle/mitsubishi..
I can assure you that my car is not awd.........
so I'm pretty sure it's Ã* disguise Galant GTi..
but then it isn't eagle 2000 GTX, cause that's an awd model, no fwd of 2000gtx... as far as i know... or what i found info on the net..
Here's the break down on models offered by eagle in canada
2000 GTX - offered in 3 trim levels, one with 2.0 SOHC FWD (89-92 with 8 valve, '93 with 16 valve), 2.0 DOHC FWD with adjustable air suspension (Galant GS or Galant GTi) and the last one is 2.0 DOHC AWD w/o air suspension.
They only offered the 4ws on the US spec VR4's.
ah canadian models... well that says it all
but thx for clearing things up!
weird that I didn't find any info of fwd eagle 2000gtx on the internet...
well...one thing for sure is that nobody knows what my car is where I live..because the car is so rare........so to make it harder to know...I just remove all tags and stickers off the car...so it's like..."the No-Name car"!! heheheheh.....
maybee I'll put the diamond stars on it...but a little one..:PPP
I hate stickers and tags lol
so lets say I'm having a Galant GTi.....right?
I think so [and everyone else seems to aswell]
I'm planning on leaving the "Galant" and "GTi 16v" badges on the back of mine, but removing the dodgy "4 Wheel Drive 4 Wheel Steer" decal off the boot 'cos in Britain, most GTis [Fords, Vauxhalls, etc] tend to be a bit naff, so I should get the "WTF" factor when I go scooting off round the bends with any luck
Camon Speedrich , show us some pictures of your car...Originally Posted by speedrich

Nice car speedrich!
Keep it clean - good luck
thank you!!
I don't know for now if I'm going to give her some modds....but if I do such thing...I'll keep it sleeper a bed!!!!!
I'm a sleeper boy and I don't like flashy cars....So the only modds I'll probably do is mechanical upgrades....
heheheheheheeeehheeh
One thing is for sure...this car will definetely stay clean!
I have a 90 galant and it's got the electronically controlled suspension from the factory, it's fwd and it's not turbo. Just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents.
