    i had mine wired like this


    using JDM harnesses, so i dunno whats correct
    (park lights only on)
    outers light up brighter and inner circles when brake

    I personally like the outsides are the brake lights and the circles are the parking lights. Different strokes for different folks! If some body wanted the long clears on the bottom as brakes then let em lol

    denver and corey have them wired correctly;;;i've had both 2nd and 3rd gens with the jdm male/female pig tail wired to usdm

    2nd gens both inner and outer light up regardless if your braking or parking lights


    3rd gens both inner and outer light up only when braking the outer are on only when parking lights are on

    Well when I had my 2nd gen tails only the outside was the parking n both sides were the brake lights

    I just matched the colors of the wires (JDM taillights harness-->car harness) like the tutorial says, (they were the exactly same colors), and they came out like corey and Qnz have them, but yeah qcustoms should confirm it

    If the socket has three wires going to it, it is designed to have dual filament bulb. If just two wires it is designed only with a single filament bulb. In this case the JDM taillights use one 7443 (dual) and three 7440 (single) bulbs.

    guys, but how to have the big rectangle lit up!! on my 3rd gens o have only a small outer part lit up when parking light is on. please tell me what u did!

    European 3rd Gens dont have the whole rectangle light up, only a small section on the outer part of it lights up, if u want the whole thing to light up, u have to get JDM 3rd Gens

    mine came with 2 7443 and 2 7440....

    Ok well it's been awhile since I've logged on mainly because the accident or execution of my g while I was at a red light. But anyhow here's a couple of pics of now is grind time....she's Gettin ready to get painted, just not sure what color, might keep it silver.

    I got so much work to do it's crazy, wire the power Foldin mirrors, cut RAF sup for heads, retrofit heads wit projectors,100mm ccfls, drill the holes for the wing...if I use it. May have it up for sale...mount the skirts. Back bumper and flares from SoCal , flares I have no idea how he expected them to fit. I've tried contacting him no answer, oh well. I'll figure it out.word to the wise, go for urethane even if it costs more.

    3rd Gens
    Also in europe we cant use (well stock anyway) the inner red circle for parking or brale light. It only lights up when the rear fogs are switched on. They are basically high intensity red lights used for poor visibility conditions and can only be switched on if the heads are on. That leaves only the outer reds for parking / brake lights. Then the long clear rectangle is indicators (lights up orange) and the round clear is the reverse lights.

    mine are taken of from a UK car. but as u said, i have only a small outer section lit up. now i plan to wire a double filament harness for the small circle to act as a parking light and as a brake light
